PLANNING APPROVED IN 2024
We received full planning permission for the redevelopment of a former garage and petrol station in Tooting. Following a positive pre-app, we continued to work closely with the local council to refine the new-build residential scheme. In the end, we have delivered 17 dual aspect flats.
The building provides a dedicated strip of landscaping providing a feature, a screen, and defensible space against a busy main road. Generous amenity spaces are carefully placed in the form of inset balconies and terraces for the residents to enjoy, and improve natural surveillance.
The proposal carefully engages with the neighbouring forms. We created a prominent and playful frontage near the main road responding to the nearby 3 storey flats. We made a case for developing a taller proposal in this area by forming a set back terrace and penthouse level over 4 storeys.
